Our Mission
Build Her A Future Circular Academy & Consulting Firm (BHAF-CAC) is a pan-African capacity building and consulting organization dedicated to advancing circular economy education, ESG governance, and regenerative innovation across the continent.
Rooted in the foundational work of Build Her A Future Project Africa, BHAF-CAC supports women, youth, communities, and governing institutions through structured training programs, technical advisory services, and research partnerships designed to accelerate sustainable and inclusive development.
BHAF-CAC currently operates programs in Nigeria, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our mission is to expand circular economic participation, increase opportunities for women and girls, and support African communities as they transition to sustainable growth models.
We build solutions that are practical, community-centered, and grounded in regional realities, ensuring long-term impact and shared prosperity.
We are committed to shaping an Africa where sustainable innovation and inclusive governance strengthen every community we serve.

Identified Gender Gap
Across Africa, women face systemic gender inequalities that limit their economic potential—especially in emerging, high-impact sectors like the circular economy.
Limited Access to Resources: Women entrepreneurs are 50% less likely than men to access financing, land, or technical support to grow their businesses.
Underrepresentation in Innovation: In green and tech sectors, women remain largely absent from leadership, decision-making, and ownership roles.
Informal and Unstable Work: While many women work, 70% are trapped in informal jobs with little opportunity for financial growth or stability.
Double Exclusion for Women with Disabilities: They face both gender-based and ability-based discrimination, with less than 2% benefiting from current empowerment programs.
BHAF Solutions
At Build Her A Future Africa (BHAF), we challenge these gender gaps by placing women at the center of sustainable innovation. Through training, funding access, and business support, we enable women—not just to participate—but to lead Africa’s transition toward an inclusive, circular economy. Specifically, we provide:
Capacity-building programs that train women in practical, future-focused sectors across its core sectors
Access to financing, markets, mentorship, and business formalization.
A regional ecosystem of women-led innovation through partnerships across Africa.
Inclusive entrepreneurship models that integrate women with disabilities and marginalized groups.
